20G turbo?

been browsing through ebay and came across this 20g mitsu turbo for an evo 9

obviously assuming the con-rods were uprated would you need many further mods for this to fit? Just a thought! lol!

major mods I'd say, the outlet to your downpipe would have to be custom made mate. Although its a Mitsubishi turbo its very different from any turbo on a Volvo. Most turbos on Volvo are Mitsubishi TD04's not TD06's.

cheers niles, bit of a shame, lol! have to stick with plans of a 19t, what sort of mods are you running mate to get 19psi? and where abouts on the coast do you live? im in bexhill.

Phew...here i go....... Rica 304 remap...Jetex 2.5 exhaust stainless cat back, Volvo 850 normally aspirated inlet manifold ported & polished, Volvo 960 24V 72mm throttle body ported to match the inlet manifold, standard 15 turbo with the actuator wound up a bit to get (now) 21psi. Inlet pipes wound & wrapped in graphite impregnated heat shield wrap. Alloy catch tank vented to atmosphere to aid engine breathing. All works 100% & turned a fast Volvo into a bonkers Volvo. Soon to be fitting a 16T turbo & ME7 ported exhaust manifold along with removal of 1 of the little silencers to aid flow. Phewww..... hope that helps! lol

wow 21psi? thats nearly 1.5bar, very brave of you! lol, isn't that rod bending level? and ill be interested as to how you find the me7 ex manifold, sounds like a very worthwhile upgrade.

Nope still have it. Sitting in that garage all tucked up for the winter ready for the track next year.

18T I got off ebay and had re-built & moddified - Best Buy I ever made.

Managed to get anotherone for the V70 and had it done to that same spec, its great on that too.
