Poly tie bar bushes available from PFV

Both replacement poly bushes for the tie bar are now available from PFV.

Ordered mine this afternoon- got to be cheaper than getting them from IPD.

I take it this is the upper tie bar that connects to the 'strut brace'? I heard that if this is solidly bushed it transmits more noise into the cabin...

Interesting. Have you had both bushes done? PFV only did the smaller bush but have the larger one as well- the first time I've seen the large bush available in the UK.

As you have the sotware we can't mention could you give me the torque rates for the bolts?

    Many thanks.

The PFV part number (904479) for the tie bar is the same for 850 as S60/V70. I'm guessing that the poly bushes would fit the 850 tie bar- worth ringing them to check though!

    Quick delivery!

Confused however.... why two of the smaller bushes and why the strange angle on the larger bush?

    Do these look right?

Might have a spare smaller bush up for grabs if it fits!

looks fine to me.. it also looks like they possibly gave you 2 smaller bushes by mistake! lol!! the bigger bush is angled like that due to how the mount is shaped.. FWIW I've just fitted my IPD bush (large) and Powerflex (small) in the tie bar.. shipping isn't really that expensive if you email IPD for a quote IMHO - especially if you are buying a few bits! - here's a post that might help you fit it:

its from PFV as IPD don't do the smaller bush.. it's a Powerflex item and exactly the same as Redbricks one.. when I bought mine no one company made both bushes.. which is why I've ended up with a Powerflex and IPD hybrid effort! lol!!!
