    850 front door speakers

    Hi all.

One of the door speakers in my 850 has a slight flutter at certain frequencies. I'd like to replace them with an equivalent aftermarket pair but don't know the wattage as it's not on the speaker.

    It's 13cm and 4ohm if that helps

If anyone can recommend a replacement that'd be grand

    Thanks.

Can you recommend a replacement? I'm after replaceing ones that distort with ones that don't rather than an expensive upgrade

Doesn't need to be exactly the same, just complement what's there already

MB QUART are used a lot as replacement , i have a couple i found here on eBay waiting to go in when i get some sound deadening to do the doors as well, plus one of the rear bass has gone out as well so will look to fix that at some stage too. Volvospeed forum does a lot of I.C.E stuff and have a wealth of info ! Cheers Les M.http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/index.php?showforum=13

Have you tried the Volvo specialist breakers? I got two replacement fronts from Salvo Group via www.partsgateway.co.uk and they are as good as new and guaranteed!
