Are these replaceable? As mine is scratched to high heaven

yes i got the guy to replace mine before i bought it, he said the part was quite cheap and easy to fit.

i know that there are aftermarket versions in chrome as well but dont know what theyre like.

I have been looking for an aftermarket brushed aluminium one - but havn't managed to find one I like yet...

Actually I'd quite like a stainless zig-zag patterned one - you know the kind of stuff they make industrial stairs/steps out of - I guess that's a custom made job though...

I've seen these on the rear step of Land Rovers and the like.

Mine's pretty bad too. Mind you, I use my patented load protector, an old duvet cover, that can be slid out to protect the back bumper while unloading wardrobes, illegal immigrants etc.
