uprated/performance dizzy cap + rotar

hi people, ive found the uprated HT leads and upgraded coil pack from IPD, but i cant seem to find the upgraded dizzy cap + rotar.

any suggestions??????

to be honest, im not too sure. for some reason i keep thinking ive read/seen it somewhere and cant think where.

what would a performance cap give you anyway? less drag on the rotor? increased vacuum? 50g lighter? stronger material?

exactly, i dont know. hence why im looking for some info.

WHY bother? any dizzy cap & rotor arm will still crap up due to the spark having to travel on to the pick up in the cap and eventually due to arc/ing will get pitted, by product of the process! best stick to genuine parts as i don't think there is any uprated versions available!

Personnally my opinion is that if you are using genuine volvo, bosch or bougiecord parts, and from volvo the rotor and cap come as a matched pair (this is the most important factor) then you will not buy anything else that is superior.

If you are running so much boost / compression that the standard coils sparks are being blown out or otherwise can't supply enough juice, then its time to swap to the ME7 coil on plug system, inwhich case you will need an aftermarket active ignition amp to fire them.
