S60 heating fan remains on when engine off

My list of problems grows by the day. On top of my tracking, alarm and locking issues, I noticed yesterday when I got in my car that the heating/fan was blowing before I got in the car. Is this something to do with settings when I left the car or is there a fault? Surely this will flaten the battery? Any ideas?

It is an AC thing. Normal. By design. Rare to catch it in the act.

Just to be clear.....it was definately the fan in the car as I felt the cool air in my face when I leaned into the car to get something. The keys were definately not in the ignition. So are you saying it's normal and won't flatten the battery?

I've heard this on a number of occasions on my V70 - it even describes it in the manual.

It's to dry out the aircon/vents system so that residual moisture doesn't make it smelly...
