Drivers window

Hi folks

Problem - drivers window seems to be goosed. Won't go down ordinarily, but if I wiggle the switch up and down a few times the window will drop a few centimetres, but then stops. Will go no further. Goes back up no problem. All other windows working fine.

Any ideas? All help greatly appreciated.

possibly the switch.

Get the card off the door, look about the scissor mechanisim, then take the switch apart & look at the contacts. (they're prone to rusting & melting)

If the switch is goosed, try fleabay for one.
