Sounds like your turbo is passing oil then... probably from the bearings. Not particularly unusual for worn turbos, I wouldn't worry until it goes big-time

you can get a turbo refurb kit, it's not dear, & if you feel it's something you can do yourself, well cheap!

Failing that your local spanner thrower may help for a couple of hours worth of work.

I'm told the bearings etc are good for about 100K, then a service/refurb is a good idea.

Unless we're talking "spewing oil" a few drops is expected.

Get it done at it's next service.

STAINSY , there is always a bit of oil/fuel there cos its going to the engine to be burnt. The flame trap system which takes the gasses from the engine block to be burnt rather than blown to atmosphere as a pollutant also has a hose at the turbo to get some suction happening in the block so the engine internally is at a slight vacuum and you will there-for get a bit of weep at that hose if its old , and so you will see some out of the BOV as well. If any -one wants a kit look here http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Turbo-Rebuild...713.m153.l1262 A VS club member here in Aus has used him and got fantastic service , they also have new turbos ! for egz.. TD04 16T AUD$ 630 !!! Whoops i should keep that to myself.........Look here for ideas and great tutorials on DIY and etc... http://volvospeed.com/ Good luck !
