    Electric drivers seat question?

    can an electric drivers seat be made to work in a car than isnt origanally equipt with one????

    im sure ive seen this sumwhere before but i cant find it i think the general gist was that the wiring is probobly already there but there was the issue of needing a software upgrade to make the car recognise its got an electric seat in it but i cant remember the difinate answer

    what model and year is your car that will prolly help someone who knows more about it then me

    No softwarewas needed in mine when i installed leather electric seats..just plug and play..just bear in mind 2005+ seats will not fit the pre 2005 models as connectors are different.

    Shouldn't be a problem, I did it to my 99 S70. All that was missing was a fuse in the fusebox, of course it was one of the ones that you cant see normally. (37 I think)
