    fitting new turbo

    hi boys and girls need some advice
    is there a procedure for fitting and running in of new turbo units?
    im about to fit a brand new one to my R that ive got.
    also does any body know where to get the from that marry the turbo to exhaust.
    other than dick turpin at volvo

    The turbo doesn't need to be RUN IN!! as they spin at something like 50,000rmp, should take about 2 hours to change over.

    When I had the new turbo fitted on mine, after about 100miles of motorway driving it just changed and kicked in properly so it takes a bit for them to free up but it didnt get a running in!

    WHen i had my turbo replaced on my Mitsubishi,I think the oil was replaced at 200,and a 1000 miles,This was a brand new hybrid with 360 bearing though,
    V40 2.0T Sport Lux Titanium grey,(03) 133k,standard
    Yamaha R1 5VY,(06) 180bhp/165whp,100nm
