    Fancy a very crisp 480?

Can't believe the mileage of this one! Looks like it's been loved every day of its life, price is high but it's quite close to classic status now. I love these cars so much, real oddballs.

I did see this one. I love the 480's and always keep an eye out for a one that may take my fancy! But, even with that mileage, i doubt he'll get anywhere near that kind of money for it!

Indeed, it's steep to say the least, but he only needs one classic Volvo enthusiast with a tonne of wedge.

Hehehehe, I wish, saving for a house mate so can't be blowing it all on Volvos (as much as I'd like to have half a dozen or so). Actually, I'm going to start a thread on classics now.

I want a 480 - have done for a while, but would need to get rid of MR2 first - and its trading a 100% reliable Jap car for a Car renound for electrical faults.

The 2.0l ones were apparently way better on the reliability stakes

Ludicrous asking price; still, I suppose it's worth a try, might be an idiot out there. I'd want to see paperwork to back up that mileage claim & if it's genuine it's still worth less than £1000.

I had a 1.7 and apart from a new starter, there were no other problems at all. In fact it was very reliable indeed.

White V70/850's are cool. Not keen on a white 480 though... Don't shoot me, it's only my personal opinion!

I like those dark colours too. Didn't they do a medium-dark metalic grey for the 480 ? I think that was my fav.
