From what I can remember the standard ic is supposed to be quite good already to the extent that they get nicked and used in more 'exotic' motors !

I can imagine a standard one will run to that by you could even run nitrous into the intercooler like i did on my astra but i am a great believer in if its large its cooler .

Im running this one in my 850:-

not sure of the exact spec but its from European tuning and loads thicker than the original but still fits in the sandwich between the rad and aircon, etc so no need for any fabrication.

Standard one is supposed to be good for 350hp but I did notice a difference as soon as it was installed. You know that feeling you get when you drive it on a crisp winters' morning? Well its like that in the summer too!

In the near future ( ie when i have enough money) im going to fit a Spa gauge that will measure intercooler in and out temps in real time, it will be interesting to see how effective the intercooler is, both on ordinary roads and the track.
