    Fuel filler flap

I have a problem with the fuel filler flap on my 2000 P2 V70 T5. The central locking all engages properly when locking the car but the flap doesn't lock. I read on another post that the little black bolt that is supposed to lock the flap can break off. It doesn't appear to have broken off and have again checked the operation and it seems the bolt moves slightly but not enough to lock the flap. Any help greatly appreciated.
