    1000 pound head?????aload of bull s*?t or true

    ive got a 97. p reg 850 t5. it was at my local garage and they said that the head on my car was made 4 a limited number of cars. because of emisions, sorry about spelling .it has a small intake/outlet hole located on the top right hand side,under the plastic cover with 20v wrote on. is this true as they said it it worth more than the car possably £1000 will try find out part code. also it looks like this, three small bolt holes with a large hole about 1cm wide in the center

    There were a limited number of those engines built, there are theories as to why but I personally don't know the exact reason, emmissions may be correct.

    So no, they are no spinning you a line

    Strange one this, as we only list one cylinder head for turbocharged 5 cylinder cars from 850 1994> V/S/C70 >1998 (and then they brought in the VVT heads).

    Hi,i believe these were made for the canadian market and the emissions were the reason.They did a similar thing with the normally aspirated 2.5 engine(pre me7),this also had a recircualtion valve mounted at the back of the head and a take off from the side of the exhaust manifold.
