    What about all the heat soak from the rad and air con condenser? Moving the horns is just a good way to tidy the front up.

    At a great expense if your garage does it.....or you in the gutter under the spoiler cursing like Blackbeard , for WHAT ??............. 1-2 Horsepower on a good day ??

    I moved the horns on my C70, wish I never did. Took far far far too long, cable blocks got stuck, cut knuckles, fingers and a lot of swearing.

    I looked into that very thing a few years back on a Rover V8 engine with efi. Just before the airflow sensor was a metal mesh of sorts which must have had a decent surface area.

    Apparently it's there to stabilise airflow over the sensor, so it does serve a purpose.

    As for the horns, I moved mine and it wasn't a particularly difficult job. My primary reason was as I have an aftermarket grille and I prefer the look with the horns moved.

    thats as may be but i can assure you, having removed mine, it makes as much difference as horn removal, performance wise........
