    my 19t'd 850 t5

well ive had the car 1 week tomorrow so far so good!

since it wasnt raining i decided to pop upto my uncles this afternoon, borrow his hosepipe and give the car its first bath.

ive done a few hundred miles in the car so far and i must say im very impressed, its very easy to live as a daily driver with and even with all the mods it still feels smooth and comfortable, even speedbumps are no problem!

heres the spec and a few pics i took today...

I think it looks fantastic with the white wheels, only a white car could look good with them though. Looks great with the lowering too. Nice stuff.

FBs thinking of building a successor !!

The team dynamics wheels are apparently very strong and light at the same time, so i would imagine a different colour would be OK but i thought it suited teh white wheels.

You could turn the car into a BTCC replica very easily from where it is, that would be rather interesting.

Mechanically a T5 is a long way from a BTCC vehicle, i think your optimism of turning this car into a BTCC look-a-like will leave the owners pockets very short...

As a staring point the BTCC vehicle is N/A .........., i wont go any further....

    cheers

Oh yeah, I'd forgotten that forced induction wasn't allowed back then (is it now?). Still, he can at least make it look similar even if mechanically it isn't close. Imagine BTCC ride quality on the ****e known as British roads!

the wheels are an aquired taste, they have grown on me alot but id still like some 17" titans in anthracite!

the car was custom mapped at bromsgrove last year, the 19t was also fitted there at the same time i have the reciepts for over £1500 for the work.

bit of an update in the thread, the car has now sold and is no longer in my posession but its gone to a good home.

flying banana has bought the car back as he missed it so much LOL, bought myself a runabout for winter and will look at more expensive cars (possibly another t5) early next year.
