i like the spoiler a lot.i have seen these for sale but never fitted to the c70.it looks the part.
sorry pangster but i dont see to much wrong with the r badge either but then again i'm a bit f****d up in the head when it comes to that sort of thing.
Nice and subtle i like it.
As for the R badge I always thought that was the point of modification, to do something NON standard, it's a personal choice to put your own mark on a car.
I could be wrong but wasn't the whole C70 designed by TWR so that would make it effectively the first R in the 70 range whether it has a badge or not. Harrumph!
Each to their own I say.
In that case i can see why people put the TWR rectangle logo on their cars.. that point of view holds water and kind of makes sense.. but given the C70 doesn't have an R engine, R suspension, R brakes, 4WD or any other factors which set it apart (different bumper/body kit dials etc)and considering they didn't make a C70R from the factory - WHY???
the worst example i've seen is this:
Why badge a car something its not? and especially when they never even made one?.. soon there'll be more C70"R"s on the road than C70 T5's..

What about fitting pegasus alloys to C70 T5's, or indeed any T5? that a no no too? Plenty knocking around with them fitted.
nope - completely different me old chesnut.. someone looking at a C70 with different alloys wouldn't think "that's a C70R there"..they would if it was badged that way though.. and there in lies the difference..
each to their own though.. i just think its pretty sad that's all..

Even bus drivers are up to it!
I love the spoiler, in fact if I get a C70 I may get a spoiler as I think the rear end needs it - it looks a little unfinished without one.
On the 'R' thing, I think it's up to each individual what they do to their car. Sure most won't even know what the R means anyway, but each to their own. The C70 was a TWR model anyway and some had the R 4WD running gear as it happens. Personally I like correct badging or no badging at all.
Tee-five, where did you get the spoiler from?

I don't care for the silly smiley you've used pangster, especially as I only post what I read.
Parker's guide to the C70
Excerpt:
As it VERY clearly says in the handling section "especially AWD".

and you think Parkers can't be wrong??? - the likelihood is that it was cut and paste from another T5 review (i.e. V70 T5)...
there was never a C70 AWD!!!
but i'd love to be proved wrong as mine would be going up for sale pronto and i would be purchasing said vehicle!!!!..

I'm sure they have an army of proof readers as most publication houses do, best take it up with them.
