    Rear Bumper Removal

    Hi all got a quick question, someone did tell me how to do this but i forgot, i want to take off the back bumper on my 850 estate, can anyone tell me where the bolts are located and any good tips?

    4 bolts. 2 x 17mm (i think) bolts that need removing from under the rear bumper, best using a hex socket as they will probably be rusty as hell. Very tight also, plenty of wd40 required!! 2 x 10/12mm bolts on either side where the bumper top ends near the rear doors, 1 is found inside the car on the passenger side, access by going into the boot & lifting the boot trim bits on the side of the floor, the other bolt is undone from the drivers side wheel arch from the outside. Be patient tho!! risk of snapping bolts due to seizing!

    Much better at releasing seized bolts if you can get hold of some !

    If you do manage to snap one of the V long bolts holding the bumper on then new brackets with bolts are only about a tenner from the dealers. Just out of interest I don't remember any other bolts other than the two long ones, plus the rivets running down the wheel arch liner.
