Didn't the forum user "Dacs Volvo" i think that's his name, have issues with a wheel supplier having problems with offsets or bolts when he ordered up some wheels for his c70. Finally got his money back though.
Most internet suppliers wouldn't take payment till the items were shipped out.

i think Dac had problems with DP Motorsports up here?.. as for payment i paid in full on Friday! lol!.. i'm half thinking of having a rummage around and cancelling and going with someone else.. as they told me it would only take 2/3 days originally.. Grrr i hate waiting on things!!!..

going from bad customer service to good customer service though! - Rufe called me today to take payment for my new grill so with any luck this should be here during the week and will be fitted before the RR day.. it just would have been good to have the grill and the wheels done! lol!

Pangster, i have a direct account with TSW so if you like i'll phone them when i get back to work on Wednesday and see if your supplier is telling porkys or the truth. These bolts you mention are usually only a problem with multi fit wheels, that is the ones with 8 holes, which can fit both pcd's 100 and 108. They need narrower bolts as the holes are smaller. A standard 5 stud fitment shouldn't give any problems.

that would be sound! - if they're messing me around i'll just cancel the order and get my cash back and get the wheels from elsewhere..

the price i paid i thought was quite keen though - i paid £515 for the rims and delivery..

"Rufe called me today to take payment for my new grill so with any luck this should be here during the week and will be fitted before the RR day."

I know it is off the point, but what do the grilles set you back and are they easy to fit?

here's the details Rufe sent me:

    EGG CRATE GRILLE:
    P/n: 9190777
    Volvo Price: £139.82 including vat
Our Price: £116.81 including vat and including delivery
Availability: Would be with you in approx 3 - 4 days, sent out fully insured with royal mail parcel force.

as far as fitting it goes i think there are just seven or eight slide clips that need to be undone - fit the new grill and then redo the clips.. probably 10 mins top to fit i would imagine?..

The grille takes two minutes tops to fit. Really updates the look of the car ( the later style headlamps also help imo)

I know what you mean, the ebay ones imo don't enhance the look of the car, dare i say it, look more suited to the max power brigade lol

i think its a personal taste thing at the end of the day.. and partly depends what colour your car is as well.. i think darker colours can get away with them better.. but i personally prefer the crystal lights..

really updates the look of the car!! - i just need to change the lights and indicators now!! lol! - and decide what i'm doing with the front bumper (thinking of removing the wiper arms and getting it smoothed over or getting an R bumper)... hmmm decisions, decisions! lol!..

just an update.. guess what.. no wheels!!!.. although i did get my tuner lug nuts/bolts - which means the excuse they were fobbing me off with before was absolute ££££££££ (that they couldn't send the wheels and bolts separately as the bolts came direct from the manufacturer)

Rochford Tyres (www.alloywheels.com) are without doubt the worst company i've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.. they are absolute cowboys.. i wish i had some more reviews of them before dealing with them.. i've just been on the phone to them and they are about as much use as tits on a kipper.. i managed (after some persuasion) to get a consignment number and checked and it looks as though they've not even been sent out yet! - which means i've taken a day off work for nowt!

i would STRONGLY recommend that no one from here uses them in future..

That's a shame mate, I was going to PM you and ask how you were getting on. I was going to order the same wheels for mine from Rochford Tyres, but I think I'll look elsewhere now.

Sorry to hear of your woes, I don't suppose you can cancel the order and get your money back can you?

i asked about cancelling them and getting a refund today (something i should have done weeks ago!) - but they said that as they were in transit they would charge me £50 for a courier etc..

if truth be told i'm more annoyed and angry at myself than anything else - i should have cancelled straight away!! - i don't usually get taken for a ride!.. oh well - live and learn.. i'm sure you can find a better/more competent supplier!

Sorry to hear about this, P.

I've just read this thread and it does sound just like DP Motorsport all over again. Maybe it's the same management.

    Kick Ass!!!!

    lol!!

another update - i've got the wheels! - they arrived today so thought i'd put some pics up - should have them fitted on Saturday - to my amazement, everything was in the box (including spigot rings!) - i think they look really good and should look good on the car.. in short - i think i made the right choice r.e. wheel but the wrong choice r.e. supplier..

    here's some quick pics:

I think they're going to look awful.

    You shouldn't fit them.

Leave them outside by the bin and I'll come and take them to the dump for you.
