thats a cool stereo. like the way the mp3 player detaches. not bad for the price.
did you have to buy the thing that the stereo sits in that blanks the big gap as volvo stereos are huge? cant remember what there called

and dont forget you will need a iso lead
when you take the volvo stereo out you will see a bar on either side i put the stereo at the top and the plate at the bottom had to trim it a bit if my cam was working id snd a pic but its easy to do

If you have not tried already dont forget to set the burn speed a lot lower for old OEM stereos. I go with 10x burn speed.

    Hope that helps

Right,i've looked into this for aaaages with no joy.
Until now I've used a few different CD's,mostly cheap crappy ones. I'm using run of the mill white label un-branded now,so disc make, makes no difference....or speed IMO.
I've been using Realplayer 11 basic for the copying, and haven't had one spit back out yet.

slow your writing speed down (modern computers have 52X speeds - slow it down to around 16X to write, it will reduce skips and should stop them being rejected

to add, if you do go down the new cd player route... I use to love alpines and had a full system fitted out with the stuff.... recently though, (i sold with 2 previous cars) a Kenwood KDC-W6537U, and later this one... http://www.gpssite.co.uk/p/Kenwood-K...KDC-W7537U.asp

both have USB plugs and can play from memory sticks (I ran a 16gb chip into mine) - that was quite a few hours of music..can't fit the whole 1.2terabyte collection onto it thought
