    Question Alarm problems

Just at a time when I'm treating her to new brakes and pads (all round, no less!) and a new wheel bearing, she starts screaming at me randomly.

There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it either: weather conditions, motion sensor on or off... Over the past 4 weeks or so the alarm's gone off about 5 times and then last Saturday 3 times in 10 minutes. I've had the battery checked and it's fine. I'm just gonna pop down to Volmech to see if VIDA can shed any light on things.

Any of you guys experienced similar problems??

    Cheers Rufe.
There's only a pen, which does have a metal end at the tip and a metal clicky bit, but that's been there pretty much since I bought the car 18 months ago.

Take it out!!! I went through exactly the same with my C70 and a 2p coin!!!.

The golden rule is never leave anything metallic in the well behind the coin tray!! I guess volvo may have already had an idea this would happen as the coin tray itself is lined in rubber!!!

When your bank statement says you've spent too much just think "You can live in your T5, but you can't race your house!"
