    ebay item ...any good?

    Hey guys.

just wasting time on the internet when I came across a Volvo 850 performance open air intake. I'm just wondering about the ebay user, has any one bought from him before or can tell from the pictures if the product is any good?

will the chrome be cooler? (as mentioned in teh sales pitch)

pretty cheap at the moment, though still 5 days out from sale.

The ebay item number is 7968293979 on http://www.ebay.com

can't quite get the links working right yet...

    Cheers

I agree - go for a performance panel filter instead with a standard box - I've had various open air and induction kits and a decent panel filter is better IMO unless of course you want a meaty grunt the induction kits etc provide.

Sounds about right. Based on what people have said over the last 18 months - they really don't like them.

As for the shiny shield thing - "all that glitters is not gold" defo applies.

i've had a K&N cone, Pipercross cone & now on a Pipercross Viper (which often ran open instead of sealed) & never had an issue with lamba lights. Didn't someone mention it was excess oil clogging up the MAF sensor causing the light, in which case its more bad maintance instead of a bad product
