    New 18s

Just got back from Nottingham from picking up my new wheels,
Bloody hell where i went was ruff as hell,Chavs everywhere and someone got murdered there last night,Didn't know it was like that,
Anyway got the new 18s on the car is no running 225/40s instead of 235/40s no rubbing at all and no spacers needed on the rears either,I am more than happy.
They haven't been cleaned yet,and i need 2 new front tyres,So i will fit Michellin Pilots or Prada's cuz i love the tread pattern,

    Gary.

PS Now you know why the Nebula's had to go.
Side view, all i need now is the BTCC colours

Front view can see the discs and calipers better now.

The nebs were nice but a bit too bling and covered most of the brakes,
The wheels need cleaning up as they have been refurbed and they didn't take the bolts or the washers out of the wheels, ,But i will phone up Volvo on Monday and see how much the washers are,Will be a laugh lots of £s i think,
The good thing about these wheels now is they are 7.5j and i can go down to a 215/35 if i wanted too,Where as the Nebs were 8js and 215s might have been a bit too small for the rim.Plus the 235s were rubbing on full lock.
All i need to do now is too sort my air leak out.

i've got 215 on a 8 wide rim on the back but admit the rim sticks out alot more than the tyre, went upto 225 on the front & they are alot better looking

Yes these were the Nebs for sale on this site,Chris got a good deal in the end,As they were quite badly kerbed so i gave him a refund to get them refurbed himself,So we are all happy,
I don't clean my wheels there's a car hand cleaning service round the corner from me,Some Eastern Euros own run it,and they (4 people)clean the whole car including wheels for £5,one of the benefits of living in london, not many of them mind you.

    Ahem (lazy git!)

You will not get the results from the car wash place. No substitute for hard graft - but given the currently hip status - I will let you off LOL.

So back on topic. I am a little confused. Are these split rims in the pic the new ones or the old ones?

Wheels are very nice but how about a close up of you nose (front) especially the grill please , this would help make my mind up regarding black grill with a chrome outer or black grill with black outer

These wheels are the same as the Nebs 18 inch and BBS split rims,The Tritons are 7.5j and the Nebs 8j,Also the Nebs are bright silver but the Tritons are just silver.
