    Resetting an SC801 Headunit

I have bought an SC801 Origonal black headunit for my 850 T5.

When i plug it all in it lights up but says OFF on the display.

It wont let me put any codes in.

How do i reset the unit so i can input the correct code ?

    Cheers guys

try leaving it powered up for about an hour, then put codes in, this happens in some cars when a false code has been entered too many times. I don't know if this is the case with these though. someone must know.

yep - you need to leave it powered on for an hour or so unfortunately.. I had the same problems with my old 901 not long after I got my car..
