High pitch noise

On tick over i can hear a really high pitch noise, like a dog whistle. I cant hear it from the inside. I think the guy next doors P2 did it but im not sure. Is this normal, any ideas please?

the only high pitch noise I can think of is the Turbo singing,,, you got a vacum leak anywhere???
Better still, you sure its not the Wife hoovering in the house when your sat in the car ...lol

No chance of the wife hoovering. It can only be heard from the outside and is a electronit type noise. Its constant and never changes pitch. Its hard to describe!!
I fired up a couple of the V70's today and couldnt hear it, I might pop in to Stratstones tomorrow.

Its the fuel pump so im told!!!!

You are not alone my daughter goes mad in my v70 'can't you hear it now dad ?' she screams fortunately it's beyond my frequency range, lol
