    Paint Code - Alloy Wheels

Does anyone know the paintcode for the grey colour that are on the "R" versions Comets? Is the Anthracite the darkest colour or is there a darker?

I think the darker code is 934 I think, it is a very dark grey, but I might be mistaken.

I used metal filler, works a treat, just don't to much on, i masked the whole wheel out except the rim as that was the only damaged part, filed it down then sanded them, then primed them, hardest part was masking the rim lol,
they were in a right state when i first had them, shame i didn't take a pic of them,

    Gary,

Noticed there is no 934 on that list, i will enquire at my local paint shop,

    Gary

    Gary,

Is that the darkest code (934) for the Comets as I need some touch up paint for mine, some **** cut the corner in a road near me not less than 24 hours after getting my comets and I had to adjust my line mid bend, and heard a tap to the rear.......grrrr!

How long did it take to fill, sand and touch up?

    Cheers

    Gary,

Still not enquired about the 934 yet, but i have to go back for some 932 when the R is back on the road, so will enquire then.

    Gary,
The wheel on the left looks stunning! Gary, how do you know it's code 934 mate cos Volvo said yesterday that there isn't a paint code 934! I need to know what to tell them and where to look that's all.

Can i go to a wheel refurber and give them code 934 and they will know?

    Gary,
Just come back from a wheel refurber and they assured me that the paint codes 932 and 934 both exist from Volvo. However, he said (and he looked at the photo's Gary) that the wheel pictured on the left in the box is paint code 934 - Anthracite bronze. The wheel pictured on the right (not in the box) is paint code 932 - Soft Silver!

Is it possible Gary that you got the codes round the wrong way cos if i get mine done 934 (dark) and the paint is incorrect then i will have to pay for it?

Please correct me if i'm wrong but the wheel painter did tell me that they wouldn't call a wheel 'soft silver' if it was dark anthracite compared to the Anthracite Bronze. He kind of had a valid point, wouldn't you agree?

I would if someone could just tell me the correct bloody paint code!!!!

just phoned my local dealer and they were about as much use as t^ts on a fish! They can't even list ANY paint codes for ANY wheels. Only body colours.

It's no good me walking into a paint shop and saying 'I want Anthracite' cos their reply will be "What shade?" I have established that there are at least 5 paint codes for "Anthracite type colour". Rangeing from soft silver, ANthracite, Dark Anthracite, Graphite......

    How hard can it be?
