    Installing an amp

    put an amp for the rear speakers in, anyone know the best place to run the live wire from the battery into the car?

    Fuse it as near to the battery as poss then run through the bulkhead and down the side of the car under the carpet. Just keep it away form any audio signal wires.

    Make sure you are using suitably thick wire (4awg and a 30amp fuse min)

    Well said that man!

    I also found a blanking gromet, low down on the drivers side that I could put the cable through to save any drilling throught the bulkhead.

    PS. Once you get to the back, put the fat wire into a distrobution block (also fused and take an 8AWG wire from it.
    Not strictly necessary but will help when you come to fit an amp for the fron speakers
