    Smile A couple of probs and need some help please.

    Well,after picking up my new toy yesterday,i need a couple of pointers please.
    1.Need to get a new fob as the one i have is tatty and also need to get a new key cut,is this a dealer only job or is there another way?
    2.When i put on the rear wiper the motor makes a noise but the blade does not move until i push it,It wipes once and then stops.any ideas please.

    Dealer only for the keys and fobs, rear wipers on the estates are prone to ceasing, strip it down, clean and soak in WD40 or the like, take some pics and do a how too at the same time

    Other than that hows the new ride ?

    Hey Justin,thanks for the reply.
    In the words of my dad 'F*****g hell its a bit quicker than my 240'.
    I really like it so far,very responsive,the steering is very tight and the kids are in one safe motor.The wife hasn't driven it yet as she is still at work so T5 time 2moro.

    I keep finding loose wires everywhere so might just go through it and rip them all out,also found a couple of unused alcohol test pipes.
    I think she will like it to but if not bad luck coz i've bought it now.
    How can i post piccies,i can blue tooth them to the pc and they come up in photoshop,what do i do then?

    try lokin at the wiper arm, make sure its connected properly to the motor arm, i had one that came lose and just moved when it wanted to even though i could hear the motor workin... could be that,, or the wiper motor could be seizing and on the way out??

    Thanks mate,might do that.i can do it via a photo bucket account but some people can bring the pictures up straight away in a post.which is what i would like to do.

    sounds like it,, if it works when you push it back onto the motor arm,,,i reckon it could be that, hope it helps,, let us know....if you need any help with anything, let us know, im not far from ya......
