Does it feel like it's down on power and pulling back, could be an air leak, sticking wastegate etc...

i can hear hissing (not a whistling more of a sucking noise - but of air flowing) and mine also goes to about 3/4 then drops back to about 1/2 way.

Easiest thing to do is stick a boost gauge on it and see whats what.

Also adam has a trick of holding the revs at 2k and if it hunts then it's likely got an air leak.

Also where you located might be a local member who can help. Edit your location in your profile.

Have a look under the black cover where the vac pipes go to the tree..

my guess is that you have a split pipe there ( mine did )

    Edited my profile.

All the vacuum hoses on mine look good around the tree there with the exception of the large one which goes into the ISCV which appears to have leaked oil out over the valve. I will put a new clip on it later.

Mine blew a cap off, after I loosened it faffing around working our where best to install my boost gauge hose. I fixed it by looping a piece of 4mm silicon hose between two of the nozzley thingies and securing each end with cable ties. As long as it is a closed system it's fine - not given me any problems in about a year since I did it.
