    Black SideWall or
    Outline SideWall for US market

VSB refers to the sidewall construction but what i dont know
    vertical sidewall belts??? lol

or seeing as goodyear invented vulcanised rubber
    maybe vulcanised sidewall belts

Sent an Email the other day to Mytyres and got this reply today:

The BSW marking stands for BLACK SIDE WALL description and VSB is for VERTICAL SERRATED BAND

so there you go. Top marks to Thunderace.

WTF is a Vertical serrated band? Guess its a strengthened side wall...
