Just about to buy a code reader ,can anyone tell me where the socket is located on the car (2001 V70 T5)

Mine is in my arm rest.

woulda thought it was in the same place as an S60 which is next to the drivers right knee.

Think a photo is needed. I was on my hands and knees with a big torch looking in a similar place for the access to the MINIs OBD. Found it eventually by doing a search on google and looking at the photo someone had put up with a big red arrow on it.

On my 2001 V70 it's as stated above, under the dash, below the steering wheel, around knee area, behind a flush plastic cover.
