    -40mm springs

    has anyone fitted -40mm springs all round on their 850 ?i am looking to lower mine and just wondered if there are any clearance problems when carrying passengers,any advise gladly recieved.

    lower

    yep mine is 40mm lower than standard

    no probs atall,
    i got 17s on it aswell,
    pics in the garage,
    just a much better ride from original,big improvement

    what springs t5 stealth? shocks standard or uprated?

    How the hell do yours not rub??, I've got Eibach springs(not sure what drop) and 17" Volans and mine rub on full lock!.

    cant remember the make springs,
    nothin fancy,
    i think they were £110 a set,
    standard front shox still & uprated gas rears,
    car feel so good in most conditions,
    i throw it around & it seems quite happy lol

    i dont know why not,
    i havnt heard anything from them,
    but i do try not to hold the steering on full lock as it dont do the rack any good,but when i have gone full lock its all quiet lol

    thanks for that ,now i know what iam doing this saturday.been quoted 110 quid for set of springs.fitted twin 3inch tail pipes today as the standard tail pipe was scabby.looks nice now nothing to big and fills bumper nicely

    i got a twin tail pipe from a 328 ferrari we cut up at work,,i was gona use it 4 mine but decided against it & went for a single larger pipe,it would of fitted the opening perfect
