I cant belive how helpful you lot are! you've helped me alot so far! just got a couple of little bits to do! i'll list below!

• Rear right speaker on parcel shelf not working
• Reset engine management light once MAF changed
• Left front headlight working intermittently
• ABS light comes on from time to time
• How far is the electric aerial meant to come down?
• Car looks like it is only boosting 1-2mm into the white? is this because of the MAF and EML

your probs with boost and such has been answered twice that i know of!!you need the maf working and reset the ecu then it will be back to normal!!electric aerial should go down all the way so you just have the mount showing..ABScould be a number of things,if you have the t5 with diognostics in the o/s/f wing then you can read the codes and go from there..speaker is either blown or you have a loose wire...headlight is another dodgy wire probably or the bulb is buggered...

It can also be an intermittant wheel sensor - but it is always best to get the diagnostic codes read first

The reset will have to be done by a dealer if its a 96 onwards car, if its earlier it can be done using the diagnostic module in the engine bay.

if you have a 96 on 850, you will have an OBD2 port in front of the gear stick,you can make a simple code reader that will allow you to read the codes and then reset the codes once you have done what you need to do..
heres a piccy!!!!

to read the code,ignition on, press your switch for 1 second,then let go,it will then flash at you the code number,when all are flashed,hold for 5 seconds,wait for the light to flash and then when its still on press for another five seconds,read the code again and it should be 1-1-1.turn ignition off ans your done!!!
