    Tyre Pressures

I have just invested in two new front tyres (Eagle F1 205/50-16) for my 96 854 T5 and have inflated them to 33 psi (~2.3 bar) as stated iside the fuel filler flap. However, on checking the Haynes the pressures are stated as 2.8 bar (front) and 2.6 bar (rear). This is considerably more. What pressures should I be using for speeds less than 160 km/h?

    Have a look at :

Usually there are two tyre pressures - one normal - one fully loaded.

Thanks for the info. That looks like the one that is on the car. Any idea why would Haynes quote such high pressures?
