I loved btcc at that time. Used to go up to races with my parents when i mustve been about 7. Got pit passes and all and hospitality coz of my dads mate. Why cant they be more like that these days.
One of my best memories is watching a volvo 855 go off and the comentator saying his race is over, but he just drove back on and finished the race!!

The touring cars at knockhill was good this year, better taht it has been for ages but still not a page on the mid 90's.

Prefer the 850 estate to the saloon, it just looked so mad.

Those were the days, it makes the current touring cars look more like todays F1.
Does anyone remember the likes of Andy Rouse in the Sierra Cosworth and Frank Sytner in the 3 series BMW ?

Love the older touring cars & the Volvo 850's are pure class but nothing can compare to the Andy Rouse RS500 Cosworth days !

Was one of those cars towards the end really sponsored by Her Majesty's Stationery Office? I believe it was. Bet that hospitality tent really rocked! Nice pens though.
