....for a ball joint apparently, Volvo are quoting £266 to get it replaced/fixed, which they said is mostly to do with alignment costs ?
Anyone had any experience of this as it seems rather pricey!!
Thanks,
Azza

The 4 wheel alignment costs about £120 off the top of my head however shop around and you will get it for less than half that price. The system Volvo uses takes forever hence the cost which is the labour charge.

07 Monaro VXR 500
03 Porsche Boxster 2.7
So maybe i could get it all fixed at another place ?
Any ideas how much the part/labour fitting would be for the ball joint itself ?

Have a look on partsforvolvosonline for the wishbone, as you cant just get the ball joint itself, at least you cant on the older models. Get it fitted by a normal garage etc or do it yourself. Im 99% sure you dont need an alignment after a wishbone change.
Basic tracking should be fine. £19.95 from my local tyre place.

Will it affect the camber? That tends to be a bit pricey.
They only need basic tracking after replacing a bottom arm.
I have spares that came off my black one.
