    Head Unit lazer lense

FFS - Perhaps this is why I can't hear anything out of my centre speaker...

The Head Unit decided to stop playing CDs this morning.

Usually when you place a CD or CDR in the machine, you can hear the wirling of the lazer lense as it locates the first track, but now when I put a disc in, there is silence and the disc ejects after a few seconds as the machine probably thinks there's simply no disc in there...

How much am I looking at to have a new lazer lense fitted? Or... is there a way to reset the unit at all?

    Ta...

    HI.

I had the same trouble with mine. Just went for no reason. It worked out about £130 to get it repaired form a car audio shop. Or its £160 for a re-con (Just looks like new) exchange unit from volvo and it comes with a 1 year warrenty with it. So went with the volvo one.
