What are the V70 Bonnets & tailgates made of

What are the V70R bonnets & tailgates nade from ? Must Aluminum or fiberglass, is it just the R or are all V70's like this ?

I know the latest tailgates are made from fibreglass, and I think the earlier ones are aluminium.

mine is an 03 plate V70R & a magnet will not stick to either bonnet or tailgate

03's probably got a fibreglass tailgate, we had one in out yard recently

My 2001 P2 has a fibreglass boot, i think the bonnet is aluminium

mines fibreglass fixed onto metal of some sort underneath on boot

Mine boot must be steel due to rust on the lower edge of it...
