    Talking a t5 but no volvo,,its a////

(BEETLE)hi all thought id blow a few minds and make something a bit differant from ur average volvo cars ive fitted a complete volvo t5 and manual 5 speed gearbox into a 1970 rwd beetle
this this nothing like a smooth volvo to drive and u need life insurance to drive it lol,
    specs are
    t5 turbo lump
    m56 gearbox(upratted)
    rica 304 ecu
    std turbo(quicker spool up)15g
    baily dump valve
upratted intercooler(full size of bug boot)
    induction air filter
    oil cooler
    upratted clutch
    mbc fitted
    decatted
    no powersteering or aircon
this in a bug it totaly stupid and dangrous compaired to the chipped t5 volvos
    4inch of the floor
tuck me 4months up to what state its in at mo
    parts include
volvo/bug/vauxhall parts and its going road legal
and easy burns tyres in 1-4 of the gears
i think im the only bug with this setup in the u.k and other foriums ive checked out
ive raced police cars .porshces and 1 ferri (on the track only )
this monster will do 165mph (but i got a twicty arse at 130mph and was like the engine was doing about 4000rpm ive a few pics/videos if anyone maybe instrested the noise is unreal thought id let u all know

    How much does it weigh?

If you need any assistance with the ECU or performance of the car, give us a call.

Hi mate, seen a few of your posts on voc, post some pics up as it sounds awesome!!!

Couple of questions, what made you choose the T5 lump for the conversion? And what have you done to uprate the M56 box?

basicly i had a old bug rotting away and thought of many lumps but this t5 was cheep so i went for a quick spin and was amazed how well it went std and pulled well 4 a big car and nice moterway crusers too ,so thought rwd t5 in a bug has to be fun. only thing it knocks the hell out of my body when trying to keep the front down ,its like a g force off a theme park ride
