    What have I done??

Got bored this weekend waiting for bits to arrive, and Mrs W wanted a cherry tree planted and her Mum was here so I disappeared up theh garage, as you do.
Look what I done! I think its so cool I almost want to kiss it!
I got rid of the corrosion on my grille - I removed the badge and slash, rubbed down th grill, masked off the chrome surround, sprayed 5 coats primer, 3 of carbon matt black, refitted slash and refitted to car. About 2 hours elapsed doing other things in between.

    2 After - grill...

3 Then I got that little plastic intake out from in front of the I/C, cut its end off and turned it around to face the incoming air and because I am fresh out of lurid green, a bit of bright Red and carbon black on the intake..bling! 0 bhp performance upgrade;>)

Not sure if I like it or love it;>)
Some will sure find it gross and let me know about that!

Thanks arbee. You can kiss it too if you like!

Am planning to do a "carbon fibre" version with a better shape, bringing forward closer to the grill so any lurid colour on the edging will peek through the grill. Need another bored weekend for that though!

    Smile painted grille

100% improvement.I did the whole grille satin black on mine which i think looks really mean as my car is dark metallic green.Since this pic was taken I've also put some eyebrow spoilers on it.Very menacing know in my opinion.
