I was just wondering how far the needle should go round on the boost gauge when I floor it.
In my car it only goes about a third of the way into the white.
Is this about right?
cheers

On a standard car yes - although if your turbo is original and you've done 120k+ miles the turbo could be tired and need replaceing or reconditioning.Originally Posted by farmermo

The standard gauge can be decieving as it isn't 100% accurate it works as a good guide tho. A stock T5 should be between 1/3 & 2/3 in the white as the boys have said.
