    Clutch Cylinder Again!

Well as most would have seen my post last week about my clutch slave cylinder i got quotes from a few companies the prices ranged from

450 - not inc parts to
1250 - not inc parts (From Volvo)

Now i took my car to a local garage who did a free check for me checked brake pipes incase it was brakes then they dug deeper into the engine bay removing parts to look further down and came up with this

    http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/1254/hmmsr2.jpg

Now he was certain this part just pulled out but didnt want todo it there and then incase it wouldn't go back.

Does anyone here have any ideas on this part? is it part of the clutch slave cylinder?

Is it a massive job cost wise and labour?

    Look forward to some responses

    Regards,
    Paul
