    colour coding?

    Was thinking about getting my S40 colour coded,bumpers side strips and possibly door handles,was wondering if anybody has this done or can post any piccies of one done.......and any opinions pleeze

    Did it to my 850, wasn't that hard to be honest, but I did do it myself.

    Colour coding is down to basic patience and the 5 P's (Planning Prevents P**s Poor Performance). Just ensure you prepare the surfaces correclty and use the correct plastic etch primer as years of cleaning and shining liquids can effect the paint. I do this on any new car I have that doesn't already have it done.

    Only other advice is ensure you take the time to let the paint dry on plastic mouoldings otherwise you can end up with really poor finishes and a different shade of colour, so be prepared to do at least one part again.

    I wouldn't bother TBH...
