    Darth Vader ..... lol

My new grille and indicators arrived today from PFV ....

Bits where easy enough to fit ...

I love the look of the grille .... and i love the indicators aswell but something does'nt look right, maybe its just because its all new and im not used to it yet ??? ... i'll give it a wee while and see if i get used to them, maybe i should have got the silver one's ...

And the new strut brace i fitted a few weeks ago aswell ...

For £79.99 the quality of the grille is poor .. yes its solid enough but what lets it down is the rubber strip going all the way around the outside, its all over the place so when you put the grill in the nose parts of the rubber border are protruding out .... and the indicators wobble ... the original one's have a block at the base but the new one's dont and i think its this block that stop them from wobbling, they wont fall out though ...

    The rubber border ...

You should have got an ebay grill, look identical, they normally sell for £40 iirc.

I think you need to darken your headlights now, as those look too light compared to those lovely looking indicators. Just my opinion though.

A took the glass off and just painted the edges and the bottom of the lenses, if you look at your lights its the ribbed bits you paint

If you want to see more I'll take one out and take more pics

    Pics mate

5 mins gets the lights out, 3 screws on each, about 6 clips all round the glass, just slide them off and the glass comes off....

You could either use a big black permanent marker or a black touch up pen

Just remember not to touch the reflective bits. If any of yours is as worn as mine all it took was a rub of the finger and the reflective stuff came off leaving the orange?? plastic underneath. I did mine but made such a dogs dinner first time around I just repainted all of it with some Hal***ds chrome paint to restore them better than new. I can't say I was too impressed with the relective properties once they were painted black either. IMHO, looked good, poor practicality for where I am out in the sticks as i need all the light I can get. lol

Cant agree there mate, I live in the country and my lights are ace, We all know Volvo have the poorest lights ever anyway so its all to do with bulb choice As long as you dont go nuts with the black then all will be good

    No worries mate

Yes, basically the front edge, the bit that you see when looking at the lamp straight on, its got a kinda wavey surface, That wasnt dark enough so painted the bottom of them, the ribbed bit

    Hope this helps man
