    Dash out.... S70!!

Anyone got a "How to" of this?

Heater matrix is burst and I was told the WHOLE dash needs to come out....

Any idea where its fixed to the bulkhead???

    Thanx

If it is anything like the 850 then you need first to take out the centre console then you will have a single bolt either side of the dash near each door post. You then have to take off the scuttle (plastic) above the bonnet (the wipers come through this) there will be around 4 or 5 10 mil nuts there which hlds the dash through the bulk head. you should now be able to juggle the dash out and the matrix and all is bits will be staring at you. Dont forget the notice your wires and where and how to unplug em and put em back!
If it aint dead....KILL IT AGAIN!!

Fraz you do not need to take the dash out, just the 2 under trays and move the carpet back, it will slide out (just)

Can't find any "How to's" for removing the dash, but here's a few piccys of folks that have removed the dash as the car was having
parts of the heating system replaced - dunno if this'll help at all, but it'll at least give you an insight as to what's probably required...

Lads, trust me, you DO NOT need to take the dash out, i have done 2, one on an 850 and one on an S70, its tight but can be done without removing the dash. Fraz dont listen to them, you'll be fine
