    Tarted Up Me Engine Bay!!

    Hi all,

Had the BSR induction kit & Samco Hoses fitted, so I thought I'd paint the throttle body cover & Spark plug cover. Generally cleaned the engine bay, and i'm pretty pleased with the results!

Looks very nice - what paint did you use? Any primer or etcher?

I just cleaned them up, used a scourer to key them up a bit. I just used some normal spray paint, then lacquared. The finish is really nice. In hind site maybe I should have used a heat resistant paint, but we'll see how it goes.

Just been out and took some pics of the car. Heres a link to a quick page I just did with all the pics on. (sorry for the state of the car! It's in dier need of a clean and polish!)

    Nice work.

Just spent a couple of hours doing interior plastic of mine. Sadly too hot to wash the car. - Not complaining, its nice to get some decent weather!
