NEW Hybrid Turbo - 375 bhp

Hi all,

For anyone who is interested, we have just released our new enhanced Stage 2 package utilising our brand new hybrid turbo. This new enhanced stage 2 is designed to produce up to 375 bhp on the stock engine and is a direct replacement for the existing ME7 cars (up to 2005). It's mainly aimed at the phase 2 models, ie S60 etc.

The existing 19T stage 2 upgrade will still be available for the older cars (and for the newer ones if required), but this new stage 2 package will only be available for ME7 cars and later.

The cost of this enhanced stage 2 is approx £350 more than the 19T stage 2 package.

Please note - these new hybrid turbos are only available as a package installed and remapped by us. They are not available for sale as individual items.

Err ok, i'm a muppet, what's a "complete hybrid turbo" ? What's the difference between it and the 19t conversion ?

Yes cos it's designed for ME7, so blue or bigger.

ps. This new upgrade is developed mainly for the phase 2 cars such as S60, though it will work with earlier ME7 cars too.

We're doing ok! Hope you are well too.

No, nothing to do with the KKK at all. It's basically a new turbo. We're constantly working on new developments, but only for the later cars now.

I presume for a stock S60 T5 you'd need to upgrade the injectors to get near this power? What's the driveability of the car like (I have visions of wheelspin in fourth

). And, what's the torque like on it? What would it do on an R I wonder ...

Don't think I'm ready for this much power - still enjoying a Stage 1 TME upgrade but that was no where near this big a jump.

Go on then spill the beans what are the specs on the turbo.Turbine wheel size andtrim and housing A/R,and compressor wheel size and trim and housing specs.

Or only for 2003 onward

It will work on the older ME7 stuff, but the target market for it is the phase 2, ie S60/V70 2001 onwards etc.

Ok, yes you got to move on if you want to stay in the trade mate, beer at the Trax Silverstone meet sounds good not far from you either. Track action and 0-60 runs, if Hamish brings the racer down I could take him up on Nat's offer, might even take a few scalps lol
