    Interior Re-trimming

The guy that fitted my headrest screens has been working on a full custom interior for a guy who wanted a show car, In my eyes the outside is a bit chav but the interior is simply stunning.....

Dash, Centre consul and Door Cards are all Cream Alcantara

Seats, Parcel Shelf and Roof lining are all Baby Blue and Cream Leather

The down side is the guy wanted his name on the seats which I think is a bit gay and the style of seat is wrong as well but the craftmanship is just amazing but I wouldnt expect any less from him.....

Everything in the interior was either covered in Alcantara or leather, He even made new carpets and floor mats.....

    He's based near Glasgow Airport....

The astra was done through his day job and cost the guy around £3500 and £4000

The material for the job was between £1500 and £2000 and it took Dave around 8 days to complete it just working on it himself...

Workmanship is probably first class...far outstripping the level of taste

You're right about the seat naming, atleast he can't forget what he's driving...as you do

Yeah, Fraz - it looks great, but imagine having to drive around in your socks all day...

Well, that's the only way I can imagine of keeping the floor on that Astra clean.

Top notch work though (even if the strips on the roof are an aquired taste).

Stitching looks a little iffy in places, but I'd give it a 9/10... overall very good work I'm trying to find a place to put an industrial sewing machine so that I can start doing this stuff myself... sadly that's not going too well.

Shame Dave isn't closer.. I could send a bit of business his way.. but postage would be a killer.

Personally I think the Astra looks hideous.

I just have this picture of it as Bobo the Clown's car, what with the colour scheme and then the big gas bottle to inflate the baloons.... It just wants a "Now available for Children's Parties!!" sticker on the back and he's got a nice little sideline.

Must say that I do really admire the effort that's gone into it even if I think it's misguided!
