Great 2 c there is good interest for the trick headlight units, I reckon they look the nutz, can't wait 2 get 'em on my beast.

In fact I'm sooooo sad and sooooo bad with PC Paint that I've even gone 2 the trouble of havin a play with a front shot of my car 2 c if the darkies would suit. Got bored tho n didn't finish the right side (or left 4 that matter?) properly...

    AFTA Well afta-ish!

Looks nice n evil, me thinks a subtle hang over using the front edge of the bonnet (ala bad-boy) would possibly make it look even more evil???

Dude, I take it u think mine (and others who have also relocated the horns) looks better with out the "I'm a snortin pig" horns on show thru my new de-badge grille, LOL!

Has 2 b said tho, it does look a lil' weird seein 'em that clearly IMhumbleO?

Now 4 the NEWS FLASH bit...

When I went lookin for the other "Crystal lamps" thread I also PM'd Carson knowing that he had the actual headlamps fitted that I was after.....well Carson has just returned my PM with some concerning news, and I quote...

"As for getting the Jewel'd headlights, I am not sure if they come in a RHD pattern, but in all honestly, I would recommend against getting them. They may look nice, but the quality in the production behind them is not worth the money they cost."

...b@gger it! Does this mean we have a real problem RT? Do u know if these r the same units u will b dealin with, and/or is this the reason (or part of) why u guys r strugglin to get them ready to sell to us UK chaps n chapesses!?!

I see also that Carson states in another thread he recently posted updating us on his car's latest mods that the jewl headlamps r indeed currently off, hhmmmmmmm, not nice food 4 thought!!!

    Hi Abdul.

The dark ones will not fit your P1 V70... The chrystal once will not fit your car either, beccause these headlights are made to fit the 850...

But there are aftermarket once for the P1 V70. I donīt know if you have a dealer for them over in England, but we have a couple of dealers who have these in stock.
Here is a pic of the new once for the P1 V70.

They are also available in the chrystal/clear version.

    Couldnīt agree more...
If you buy any sort of clear-lense headlights you must remove the wipers.
Otherwise you are asking for a scratched lens. That will not look good, be cheap nore give you a good (light-frame)

Im sorted for postage and taxes as they can go in my hand luggage Cant really see why they cant be changed to rhd, surely its just a case of re-aiming the beam, the lenses are clear anyway.

    Hi again.

    As previous stated. Almost Ģ400.
When I callculated It was Ģ375.
Of course you are able to re-aim the beam, as you are able to do with any kind of lights. Thatīs exactly what we do with the Skylines and all EVO 1,2,3,4 and 5 that are imported from England and Japan.
Just a matter of having the right equiptment to check the result after re-aiming the lights.

Hi all i have not had any quality issues with these lights,i would say they are no worse than standard volvo lamps. we are still in the process of sorting this all out we can also get hold of the evolve lights but one at a time !.

    Hi Russ,

I will have 2 trust ur judgement on the quality Bear it in mind tho that all I have 2 go on tho is what Carson has told me so understandably I'm gonna b concearned that they r worth the money

Out of interest m8, u say u can get hold of Evolve lights? By that, do u mean P1 V70 lights ONLY, or r there indeed 'Evolve' versions available 4 850's?
Reason I ask is cause I have seen that very Silver V70 (as featured in this thread) b4 in Max Power, n love those lights but didn't think such a unit was available for the 850, is this the case? They look even meaner than the lights u have shown us 4 the 850's so if there is a version available for the 850 I'd like 2c 'em n would probably go for those instead

    Thanx m8

Damn this thread looks like a T5SLAVE "billy no-mates" column LOL...

In all seriousness peeps I have decided 2 bite the bullet n go it alone gettin these ere crystal/jewel lamps from the States...or Sweden

I would like 2 ask if anyone can advise me where best 2 get 'em, as I have searched the wibblywideweb and have noticed a few different places sellin them...any thoughts would b very much appreciated

    http://www.autorice.com/catalog/prod...roducts_id=795

    http://www.vivaperformance.com/catal...products_id=38

Also, I have noticed these at PFV recently...

    http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/...oducts_id=4507

Does this mean "jewel" headlamps could b just round the corner from our UK chums at PFV? Anyone bought fitted these side units yet?

Ta 4 any info, think I'll call PFV reet now actually

    Mark.
