    Tow bar fitting

    Any tips/hints/instructions on how to fit tow bar to !998 C70 gratefully received.

    Re what am I towing-just a small trailer.
    Was the "Don't" because of extra weight, or other problems?

    adge you need to take the rear bumper off first, then fit the 2 smaller plates behind the bumper brackets, then the rest of it fits on the chassis rails, once the bumper is off it is self explainitory,

    With regard to electrics, C70s have trailer wiring harnesses located behind right hand boot liner. I'll try and find a wiring diagram!

    Please confirm with Multimeter before commiting yourself!!!!

    VOLVO C70 Trailer wiring TRAILER 12N

    Connector A
    PIN 1. GRN.........LEFT TURN........................YEL
    PIN 2. BLU/GRN.....RIGHT TURN.......................GRN
    PIN 3. YEL.........BRAKE LIGHT......................RED
    PIN 4. WHT.........REAR LIGHTS......................BWN and BLK
    PIN 5. GRY.........SPARE
    PIN 6. BLK.........EARTH............................WHT

    Connector B
    PIN 1. GRY/RED.....SPARE
    PIN 2. BLU/YEL.....SPARE
    PIN 3. BLU.........REVERSE LIGHTS...................YEL (12S)
    PIN 4. VIO/WHT.....FOG LIGHTS.......................BLU
    PIN 5. VIO.........FOG LIGHTS (Looped with pin 4)
    PIN 6. BLK.........EARTH............................WHT
